I can not make the meet and I know DIY won't be able to either. :\\

My cement mixer arrived today and so the next 2 days will be putting it together and digging some more if its not raining on me.
The retaining wall is not very tall but is 32-35 feet long

If its kinda dry tomorrow I'll take some before photos...

LOL....thankfully no exams yesterday. Just work. I don't think any sparkles were noticable.

The rafters should be on edge for support but also to prevent sagging as a board flat will warp/bow after a while.

How much warp or bow will I get over a 3' span?

Yeah the one at Salmon Meadows was my boss & her husband--they weren't trapped but had to back their 30+ foot RV & truck VERY fast to avoid being crushed by the slide. The people trapped on the other side were friends they were supposed to camp with! It doesn't surprise me--it's pouring out right now--AGAIN. I suppose it's good to keep things green & lessen the chance of wildfire but I'm still sick of it.
