This rotten cold I've had for over a week let up a bit today so I got outside to do the hot wire. Got distracted with other things and only ended up getting it half way done. Tomorrow perhaps.
Introduced CL's Wheaten boy to every one today. Funny thing was that the teenagers chased him, not the big chickens. Go figure. When it got time to go to bed, I couldn't find him.
So I looked under and around the coops but no chicken. I found the silly bird in the coop with the big chickens, squashed in between to fat ladies, only his white feathers showing out from under their fuzzy bodies! It was cute!
I made a big brooder over the top of the roost in the teenager coop. Has a hinged door covered in chicken wire. Turned out good. It was dark so I couldn't get a good pic. I'll try tomorrow.
Night all! Gonna get some sleep so I can take advantage of the sun tomorrow!
