I've had some respiratory problem passing through my flock and lost my first chick to it. Two more are having trouble breathing and clicking when they breathe. I am waiting for my Denagard to arrive but I really want to know exactly what it is

Edit: I should actually be grateful that this is my first loss. It started over a week ago with two of my hens breathing terribly. All the hens are fine now, and apparently my neighbor's chickens "all got sick and died" according to their son who came asking for one of my chicks (

). So yeah, I'm just grateful none of my big girls have died and that there are only a few I'm really worried about. The others seem to be recovering.

Can you describe what you mean by trouble breathing. How long did the chick breath funny before it died. Reason I'm asking is because I have a couple chicks that kind of rattle when they breath sometimes. You have to pick them up and listen carefully to hear it. So I was curious about yours. Thanks.
