I can't wait to meet everyone in February!

I finished all my work and now I get to go on vacation!!! Yippee! Just a long weekend but I am sooooo ready. Work has been remarkably depressing and overwhelming recently, but since the last year or so has been great so I cannot complain too much. The best part of yesterday was I took our two little juvie chicks to work with me yesterday. They hung out in my office with me and it was so nice. They made sweet and soft little cheeps and purrs. Sometimes they were so quiet I forgot they were there!! Best part were when people notice the cat carrier and asked if I brought a cat/dog. Imagine their surprise when I said chickens!

The most common response was "live chickens?" Do they really think I would bring dead chickens in a cat carrier to work???

I wish I could have office chickens all the time!!

And thanks again to Russ for chicksitting for the little buggers!!

BTW: who is Cindy? Weaveagarden?

PS I love all the emoticons. It's made my day brighter, and that's a good thing. I am just so tired of the wet and cold. The damp humidity thing just makes my bones hurt. My brain tells me it is warmer than slightly normal, but my bones just don't seem to care and say that is just plain cold. I really should have gone to Chile for the winter. Its summer there and not too many time zones away.
