Well gotta get my apple boxes fixed up today for my little guys and then on to the new coop!! It is taking way longer than expected but, with my BF schedule it's a little at a time!! When we get done I will have pics to show!! I'm really excited to get it done and have everyone moved to their right pens!!! hope you all are enjoying good weather there! It's sunny and 70 right now!!!

Speaking of barn cats: let me know if you are looking for kittens, as The Nephew has once again failed at getting his cats spayed and there are eight genuine certified barn cat kittens available in about two weeks- mostly brown tabby, a couple black, if memory serves. They are not related to my cat, who is part Maine Coon and weighs 17 pounds, but are decendants of a tiny very pregnant female who was dumped in the sow barn four years ago: the female my son and his girlfriend took, who's been iving the high life of a spayed spoiled house cat for half her life, is well under ten pounds. As small as they are they are murdr on rats and mice and the males have a talent for taking out Eastern Grey Squirrels.

We may get the spitz enclosure set up this week end. They don't need it for another week, but we might as well take advantage of the weather. There's no guarantee it will be good next week end.

Warning: I have a shameful weakness for orange roses, so I may not be a reliable guide.

(Well, also red, pink, yellow, white, peach....especially peach...purple, and grey roses).

What about Mrs. Sam McGredy? Awesome fragrance, but more on the peach side of orange. We had the climber at out first house. 2-3 flowers would smell up the whole house wonderfully!

Hi Broody! We missed you! I think our posts are pretty close now, I have to take a look. You were ahead of me there for a while.

I'll look for that rose, I love the peachy ones.

I bought an orange rose called "Easy Does It" and a yellow one called "Lemon Meringue" both from Weeks. They look great now, but are both in nursery pots. I was looking for a little yellow thornless climber that I used to have in Woodinville. The whole thing would get covered with little popcorn blooms. I had a pale blue clematis growing with it.
