By the way, I was talking to my mom (from Malott) and mentioned the location of your farm. She knew exactly where I meant and started talking about the families that used to live there. She's 91, so the families she remembered were there back in the 1930s!

She was speculating what it must look like now and even said, "We should go to Okanogan again some time." I think she's right, she deserves a road trip! Better call some of the cousins.

Well I didn't SCORE quite as good as broody. But I got a call this am to go catch another swarm of bees. This one was almost as easy as the 2 we did at Patriot feed little over a week ago. Today I was able to back the flat bed truck up to the mobile home the bees were on. We got in the truck and Robert held the hive up while I swept the bees in. Put the lid on and off we went to home. What I got today is about 2 1/2 - 3 lbs of bees So about $80 if I were to go buy them. I now have 3 hives one of which already has about 15-20lbs of Honey for me and it is VERY early. Today we checked the hive we got at Scott's. While I didn't find the Queen I found fresh eggs and plenty of larvae, honey and pollen. Another week or two and they will be ready for another box.

One woman wanted her kid's underpants changed 2x a day as he still wet himself sometimes (in kindergarten) My brother's girlfriend is a K teacher and the stories she tells, especially about the OLDER set of parents having kids is horrible...these older people are in their 30s & early 40s FINALLY having their kids and not willing or realizing that they have to give up working or playing as if they were still childless, and put time into the chicld you just gave life too.
Reminds me of people who get a puppy, then get bored with it as it grows.
And the dog lives out it's life in a yard alone....

While the owners go skiing, and boating & vacationing...and WORK WORK WORK....
It is hard to spend alot of quality time with your kids, especially if you have several kids.
Getting off work & trying to get dinner going & animals fed & laundry going..whilst helping your kid's do there homework is a job in itself!!!
I am more & more for home schooling & Moms at home, everyday.

Sorry, we just had an experience of my BF daughter and 4yr old and almost 2 yr old here, and by God!! She thought this was her house and her kids didn't do anything wrong, and WE or she I say her DAD OWES her!! She is a selfish, nasty, jealous little girl at 25 and she was her from Nov till Mar, and I kept my mouth shut to her, my boyfriend didn't say squat, well, we got into a big A** blow out cause her 4 yr old was pissn on my back porch rug and she called the cops on me!! needless to say I hired an attorney and taking it to court, I left the house for two weeks while she got out and left to go live back in OR! But the above statement fits her to the tee!! When are people going to wake up and realize the government was not put here to take care of you??? My kids spent time in parochial schools and when I had no choice but to put them back in public schools they were both put in upper level classes because of their previous education, like honors classes!! Come on!! if our public school systems have sunk that low why should they go at all?? And have you noticed how much more time off they get from school?? There out more than their in?? Why am I paying taxes again??? someone clue me in???
