I made a 'Buddy list' note that denniselk from Bonney Lake, WA has midget white turkeys. I do not know if they still do or if they have any eggs or poults.

I thought some one else just mentioned them like yesterday of the day before. 4321 or REI?

I have been skimming the post to keep caught up and missed that.

I am searching for a few "Green Men" they have to be a bit detailed, flat on one side to hang on a wall/door, but very detailed on the other side.
I want one on my little barn door.
I will search for a picture.
I do not think CR can make one without it involving alot of time.

See if this link works, lots of pics:

Those are sooo cool!

I have been deeply in love with "the Green Man" for decades.
I want green men peeking out from trunks in my woods, and on fence posts, and on my front door...all over !
So cool to spot on while you are walking through the woods.....

So was this recently ??? And ya said nothing to me and broody so we could stand on the overpass and throw rotten eggs or something at ya.

coupla weeks ago.. we bought a pig from Scott, and I had to go to his butcher to pick it up. It was a fairly quick run down, stop at my friends and keep scootin! Had a dinner party to be at blah blah blah. I DID think and wonder if I could have fit you in too CR!

Cuteness Overload!!!!!! Everyone has been posting such beautiful photos of their chicks!

How much chicken food do you all go through in a week? Chicks included since they seem to spill the most.

I have 44 birds and go through 50 pounds in just under a week. My 8 hens and the 4 (4 month old) orpingtons free range almost all day, every day but still go through a large amount of foos. I have 7 (4 month old) Barnelvelder that are in a tractor that is moved at least daily. They seem to be great foragers, especially liking any grass that has gone to seed. They don't go through much feed. I have a juvenile pen with 13 youngsters that are 9-12 weeks old. Seems like they suddenly started eating a lot!!! I go through far more food for these guys than I do my other pens. I have a brooder box with 5 (4 week old) cochins. They make a huge mess of their food. It seems the container epties as soon as I put it is, and their flor is covered with 1/2 inch of food! I think I may forgo the wood shavings! I scoop their box out weekly and put all that wasted food into the compost. I have a rabbit hutch with a broody hen and her 4 1 week old BCM chicks. Food in there falls through to a pan below, and there is a mountian of food in the pan right now. and lastlly, I have a large dog kennel with another Eglu and 2 abntam cochins. They don't eat much, and if I use the feeders that came with the coop, they don't spill much either. These are the same feeders that are in my barnie tractor where I also don't get much wasted.

Our 1/2 pig from him went to butcher on Saturday. He was looking to sell the other half. Glad to hear the meat is good. I don't know much about fixing pork other than bacon and ham! If you have any good recipes, I can use some. (Beef too - I end up feeding a lot to our dogs!)
