Labels for honey jars. I haven't made any for egg cartons, but I could. Alex just wanted to give his teacher a gift that would be useful. I told him to get his phone number - I'll pay him for some of that honey! He said he has a lot because he has multiple hives and no clue how to sell his honey.

What? tell him to do word of mouth, local stores or farmers markets, or put a sign out. They will beat the door down.

Sell bees, hives, or honey?

Alex wants me to make labels for honey jars for his favorite teacher, the bee keeper.

I will have bees next. Which means I need to learn how to make hives

And that means that I will be *forced* to get a dovetail jig

Ya know if you start making hives I just might know somebody who just might be interested in a trade.

Honey and maybe complete hives with bees.
If ya come up wit ha design for labels I may be interested. I haven't made any progress on making my own labels. And I think I am going to need plenty this year.

What do you put your honey in? I do a lot of canning, and now prefer lid labels for mason jars as the lids get tossed anyways, then I don't have to mess with getting the label off the jar when it is empty. Blank labels are pretty cheap when they are purchased bulk. Mr. Ullman uses both mason jars and those little squeezy plastic bottles that look like little bee hives. I think those would need a hang tag

The picture part is easy and fun, but what to name it? Mr. Ullman's Honey just sounds wrong!

I have used the oval pound squeeze and glass pint jars.
As for the teacher I would just put local honey. Then put his contact info.

I sold my first eggs today. Half dozen for $2 to a neighbor. I'm not going to get rich like that, but I was kind of excited all the same.
