We don't really have any names picked out...it's so hard without seeing her. I think we'll get it narrowed down to two or three and then decide once she's here.

The wall color of the nursery is called "Golden Egg."

The theme is called Abby's Farm.

I know. I saw some that Paul's Poultry had...but I'd have to get rid of a breed to get them....

and they don't lay as well as anything I'd have to give up to get them....

but they are really pretty.

Wyandottes have so many gorgeous patterns! I've always loved the SLWs, and the Silver pencilled are lovely, too, as well as the Blues. And the Blacks. And they're the only kind of whites I'd really want...

HOWEVER, it has come to my attention this weekend that I really can't have all the chickens ever that I think are beautiful, and I need to save a lot of money if I want Citron Hamburgs, so...
