I know. I saw some that Paul's Poultry had...but I'd have to get rid of a breed to get them....

and they don't lay as well as anything I'd have to give up to get them....

but they are really pretty.

Wyandottes have so many gorgeous patterns! I've always loved the SLWs, and the Silver pencilled are lovely, too, as well as the Blues. And the Blacks. And they're the only kind of whites I'd really want...

HOWEVER, it has come to my attention this weekend that I really can't have all the chickens ever that I think are beautiful, and I need to save a lot of money if I want Citron Hamburgs, so...

It just keeps getting worse! Trust me!

Oh and as far as B.A. white birds...yes...minimal white is good. After washing & preparing Light & Coronation Sussex for show....

it makes me appreciate my Sumatras even more...I just use a damp towel on their bodies, a little baby oil on their combs, clip their nails, then oil their legs and we're off!

Yay! We had a crib/changing table hand me down so have had it set up for a little bit. I love going into the nursery and turning on the musical mobile.

And we find one of our cats usually sleeping on the changing table or in the bassinet stroller.

LOL That's why we left the mattress in the plastic and the rocker thingy in the box for now...I'm sure that Chubs or Butters will think we've set it all up for them!

Where did you get your roo? If it's from a feed store, it's probably an Easter Egger and not a true Ameraucana.

He came from a breeder out here in kitsap county

He is still young yet

Hi again everyone!
I am so super busy!
Gotta get out now & plant the Cinderella pumpkins they are growing out of their pots in the hot frame, and each has 3 blooms already...they are still in 5" pots...

Everything else is caught up.
Amazing how much does not get done when I am gone a day or two.
Ducks are up the hill in 5 foot tall grass, having a blast, birds are all out in the sun, even the 2 week olds (35)
A few escaped & were tracked down, captured & returned to their yard...little houdinis !

I made GF brownies, ice with cherry frosting, and a loaf of GF bread in the oven ready to come out.
Sold 3 doz eggs, picked up 2 doz more hatching eggs, so have a 1/2 full cabinet incubator now, that is about 9 doz.

The new babies we got yesterday are doing fantastic...(28)

All is well on the farm.

I have to plant the Cinderellas and call Home Depot now, so I will get back on when time allows.
Anyone need me, PM or get my # from Rainwolf, CR or Cheryl.

Hope you are all doing great!!
