My gosh - so sorry to hear. Hope he can pull through - that's a lot to handle all at once for your family.

I still havnt gotten an update on him yet. My Aunt still does not know. Thats really the thing that bothers me the most, she doesn't know. I know I would be very upset if my family didn't tell me my husband had a heart attac and is in a coma... Im staying busy, playing mind numbing video games, looing areound online, playing with DD, doing laundry, feeding horses, dogs, chickens, DD, ect... Anything and everything.

Would it harm her condition to tell her?
Are they in the same hospital ?
can she be mobilized ???
As soon as you tell her, you better be ready to take her to him.
Will that endanger her condition ?
I know how you feel, I would want to know, I would need to kiss him & say goodbye.
I would be seriously messed up if DH was taken from me and I never got to be there.
Good luck sweetheart, I know you will do the right thing.

I dont now how her condition is at the moment. Last week my step dad took her in for a pain pump. A few days later she couldnt breathe, so bac to the hospital she went. She hasnt been home sence this latest chec in at the hospital. I believe she is in Bremerton at Herison memorial hospital. I have no clue where they took her Husband. It is possible that he was taen to Bremerton, but it is also very possible that they transported him to Seattle. Seattle hospitals are in general better equiped than our local hospital....

I say definently stick with the Wyandotte's and consider them dual purpose too. They are gorgeous and friendly and when we processed our extra roo's last fall, the Wyandotte had the most meat on it! Of course it's always fun to have other breeds in your layer flock. That's what we do. We have a mixed flock of 12-15 birds that are all assorted varieties/breeds. Then we have our breeding pens, which have the different projects we are working on. And as I always sy, there are NEVER ENOUGH COOPS!!!!

I think this is the ticket -- two flocks, a breeding/project flock (In my case Wyandottes) and a layer flock - for me, that's RIR's and some EE's.

Thanks everyone!!

Now -- what color 'dottes

What does a wheaton am look like ?

I have a rooster that hit up my silkie he crows but not sure how long it takes for him to be fertile? He is the guy in my avitar whom I want to find a new farm type home.

Right now this is what he looks like now. He still has yet to get his full colors! Going to be one handsom boy when grown!

That's what my Maxim looks like. I think from the same parents, maybe the same hatch? Very handsome! He is already really good with the little girls. He kind of heards them and talks to them when I put treats in the run. I am waiting to see if he is, or can learn to be nice when he gets big and the boy horomones really kick in. Nice picture!
