Friend of a friend who lives in Texas.
Yeah these birds are cool..self reliant, weeders and lawn mowers, and they are NICE, and they are small as geese go..so no giant land mines.
Eggs, or goslings ship in the spring...cool.

I just have to put up with the neck high grass until then...

A big doe was standing about 30 feet from our cabin yesterday, dog barked once, Java Cock was going off with his alarm...and I could barely see the top of this doe's head!
Seriously, there could be any number of predators in this tall grass, and we would never see them, not cool at all.
Hard to mow on a slight hillside...I mowed it last year & the mower & I kept sliding down...need geese!
