I hate to be a bother but would be so greatful. I did buy a small pack of the Avery cards and thought that would help me get set up and then I bought card stock. Well no luck I just can't seem to get the avery program and your images to meet inside this silly little electronic box!

That's why my DW stayed home. It did not make any sense for her to go to work once you factor in fuel, auto maintenance and clothes. We ended up doing daycare which we ended up not liking to much but it help with the bills. Now she is a stay at home mom with a 14,12, 5 and infant doing home school.

Tell your DW that I love her thoughts on money!
And kudos to her for home schooling with an infant! It's not easy.
Our oldest is starting her 2nd year of college and our youngest is going into the 2nd grade. So I walked in your shoes!
I'll keep her in my thoughts this fall when school starts back up!
Does she use any particular curriculum? I'm curious about what other home schoolers in other states use.

Thanks, DW may not be happy that I am quoting her its so true.
We use K12. In Washington K12 is free, here in Kansas it's $97 a year per student. Michael starts HS which is free. Charlie is starting Kindergarten. It is going to be a very interesting school year.

School starts Jacob and Charlie next week and Michaels starts on the 15th.

I'd be happy to! Just have to remember not to get them wet cause home printer ink smears.
Someone told me to spray them with clear coat to help. It might have been CL.
I'm gonna try that the next time.

Cool. Do you want me to email you the .jpg for what I already have and you can go from there? I also have a file of just my logo.....

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ink is so expensive, and it's true that with an inkjet printer your cards will run if they get wet unless you use a clear coat, which is an additional expense. We used to print out own business cards at the wine shop until I found OvernightPrints.com. They are VERY reasonable for what you get, which is a really nice quality card. I've been completely satisfied with the price and quality. The more cards you order, the lower the price per card which works fine if your information (address, phone #) aren't changing anytime in the near future.

I don't want to discredit the excellent job anyone may be doing at home though! If you have figured out your program and printing so it's working well for you and aren't exhausted by the price of the ink then go with what's working! Just might be worth looking into the price comparison sometime. Only a suggestion.

I'm supposed to be some sort of writer, and the last five years of word processing program upgrades have pretty much overwhelmed my desire to express myself: stuff like spell check, word count, and simple formatting are buried in a whelter of drop-down menues that get shifted around at every automatic upgrade. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em.

And this is why I first became a SAHM- I had a job reading and marking English and history papers for the high school my sister went to which paid almost nothing, but netted more than I'd earn above daycare in any job that was open during that time (eldest was born in 1986).

Decided it was a good day to switch from a towel to newspaper in the brooder. The chicks were stunned by this new surface. They looked like landlubbers on a rolling deck, none too sure of their footing. They're trying to get on top of the feeder and the rolled up sock, anywhere but on that strange surface. It's not too soon is it? The youngest was hatched day before yesterday. The others hatched over the week end. I was concerned about Omega that first evening. S/he seemed very weak, but s/he's perked up just fine.

Also decided today was a good day to kick Carmen out of the nesting crate. It's time she started laying eggs again. She doesn't seem too heartbroken. She looked to be enjoying a sunbath last I saw.
