Well, I'm back. I can't get my harvest total list from my email because centurytel is upgrading. Hope they don't take too long or I'll have to wing it.

I have no idea what they are worth. I think DH picked them up at a garage sale several years ago. I'll try to get pics today. They have/had a bent wood rim on the inside of the metal rim with holes spaced evenly to hold the spokes. They weren't in great shape when he got them but now the center with the axle and spokes has pretty much completely detached from the wheel. The wood is rotting.

Sorry I wasn't saying anything about your wheels. was just asking about the value (if any) of mine.

Welcome!

Oh, well: no hired help today, just the Sears guy. I hate having the Sears guy in, but what can you do?

He could have been here at 8am, so I got up at 7. 7-ish. After my husband crashed out when he came home last night and I didn't get to talk to him until 10:30, and then he was all bouncy and communicative and generally caffinated after he drank two glasses of sweet tea... ugh. Need to decrease fire hazards and general difficulty of navigation outside (says a lot about this summer that there's a nice worn path to the chicken coops but none to the picnic table or garden seat

) and pick up what has been dropped and let lay- blue nitrile gloves covered with slug slime, bits of landscape cloth which are apparently invisible to my "helpers" etc. Feed chickens, water chickens, gather eggs, move chicken tractor, move sheep pen... and then, assuming the washing machine is fixed, do laundry. Oh joy unbounded. Oh chicken coop unbuilt.

Now that's a recipe I'd like to try! Have you tried raspberry pie? It's wonderful, too.
