Is Johnson Creek up on the Flats? I never heard there was a creek named after my family, but could be, I guess. I love geneology, but I can't spell it, lol! I'd love to see all the pictures. I don't have many from that branch of my family. I think they were too poor to afford a photograph. I think I have one picture of the 6 kids. Where in Omak are they showing the photos? I wonder if all the birth and death records are still intact from the last 100 years. I would love to get some of them.
You know, I think the farmhouse was on Duck Lake Road. I will have to ask my mom. My in-laws must be very close to you Teresa. They are on 6 Nichols Road. The house burned down about 20? years ago, when mil was Eldora Bjorklund, then they rebuilt it. She was widowed and married Julius Baker, who used to drive a school bus in Omak, but is now 84. He has a brother and a son, but I don't know them.
OkaY, you are so getting my curiosity genes running. Yes, Johnson Creek Rd is considered up on the flat too. There is a ver large drainage creek that is Johnson Creek that runs from Conconully. The state's record creek caught brown trout is from Johnson Creek. Okay, now I need to figure out which end 6 Nichols Rd is....this is so funny. The world is so small. The name Bjorklund is really familiar...I willl need to do some more thinking today as I wake up and have had more cofee.
When she was Eldora Bjorklund, my mil worked at either the clinic or the hospital, as the bookkeeper I think. Retired now. And her hubby was service mgr at Price Motors? for many years. He died in '95. She has lived in Omak since about 1975. Her son (my bil) is Kevin McAllister. He just went to his 30 yr reunion at Omak High a couple weeks ago. He lives over on this side now.
