Okay, my chicks are going to be 13 weeks in a couple of days. I need to get serious about finding my boy a good home. But first, I need to make certain he is a boy, which I'd put money on. He was acting like a roo from day one. The chest bumping, the cocky attitude was all pretty cute when he was just a fluffy chick. I'm surprised now that he's grown he doesn't seem to be showing off quite as much, but none of the girls are much threat to him.

Showing camera phone pics just to verify 1: that Cocky is definitely a boy. And 2: his mama is our light Sussex, but it does look like his daddy was CGG's exhibition black Orpington doesn't it? I'll tell ya, he dwarfs all of our other LF girls, and is very nearly as big as his fat ol' light Sussex mother.

DD and I love this boy though. Sure hope I can find a home for him that is not shaped like a stew pot. Of course he's free to anyone who won't cook him.
Opinions please?

Ok, so I am having a crappy day. Yesterday morning, I bit my lower lip on the inside, and I re-bit it at lunch, and 2X dinner, and again at lunch today. It HURTS!!!! And I keep forgetting about it, eating something and I do it AGAIN!

I couldn't sleep a wink last night. Was as wide awake as I can be. Now I am soooooooooooooo tired.

Had an eye appt today and my eyes are all dilated and wacky.

I'm making freakin PEA SOUP for dinner in this crapola weather!!!! WHERE IS OUR SUMMER!?!?!??????????????????

Ready for a new SUNNY day!!!!!
