Mmmm. I love cabbage rolls. Cept I'm the only one in this family that even likes veggies so really miss the cabbage rolls. I'm gonna be eating these peekles by myself!

Corn and Green beans are all this family eats. The 2 things I don't grow. They don't know what they are missing. Ahh, roasted beets with scallions and Garlic Mustard vinegrette, grilled summer squash, broccoli with cheese sauce, Portugese Kale soup, Leek and Potato soup, Tomato Pie, Tomatoes and cottage cheese, Steamed Turnips, Cucumbers with red wine vinegar and sour cream, Roasted Brussels with bacon and shallots! The list goes on. This family doesn't know what they are missing. I just make small amounts for myself and let DH buy KFC. I do have one son who will eat salad. Yeah! I have to say though DH makes mean enchiladas! I like those too.

OK peoples, I never said I didn't think it was a good idea to use them for whatever ails ya. Just pictured a bald guy with one taped to his head. Geez. At least Rustler gets it! Thanks for the email big guy. Yes, you probably would have got spanked for that. Oh, and the one about 'what women/guys want' was a good one too. I appreciate you.

I had the same image in my head.

THANK YOU!

Well see I was raised on meat, spuds and any veggie that could be cooked to mush and had no color. I am trying to try new things. Like lots of fresh garlique Speakin of anybody going to the garlic fest in Chehalis this weekend?

poultry barn superintendent came to the house to give Alisha the low down on chicken showing. WOW!!!! I will have the woman come back up just to talk to her. I will some day know that much. Anyway...she loved my cochin Bantam Hannah...Hannah is considered a blue (a dark blue - but a blue). Hannah is missing the toe feathers so she (the superintendent) is on the lookout for a cockerel for me...I really had not planned on breeding cochin bantams...but I guess I am now.....LOL.

She was so helpful. I really appreciated all that she did for us.
we are taking 3 seramas cockerel, pullet, and hen w/chicks. Black orp cockerel, black orp pullet and blue bantam cochin hen to the fair....also we (DD) are doing an educational poster. DD is also fitting and showing and the judging contest.

OMG, well don't eat too much garlic! Making reference to a previous post.

Didn't know Chehalis had a Garlic Fest!

Hi all - sorry I've been a stranger lately. First I was too busy, and then Saturday night we lost our fluffy white cat. Usual bedtime routine - DH lets her out as he goes to bed, she does her business and then sits on a boulder below the bedroom window until I let her back in 20 or 30 minutes later. I heard her out there, a bit of a scuffle. I assumed she was hunting something because I called her but she would not come. Turns out she was the hunted - I suspect a bobcat. Something silent and stealthy.

It's been a long time since the loss of a cat has caused such a heartache - I lost Fern a few months back, but she had been ill for years, so though sad, it was a bit of a relief. I have been so upset over Char, I feel on the verge of vomitting for days now. Char was super friendly, everyone loved her. She was especially fond of DH, and stayed curled up at his feet whenever he used his computer.
