Sylvia decided to make up for not laying for two weeks by laying two eggs today. One nice big pink egg with a shell, and one floppy thing with a skim of calcium over the membrane, to whit:

And before you ask, yes to both Layena and oystershell, but two eggs in less than twelve hours, so...

In other news, Baachus just yanked my right shoulder across my back to the left, and I am OUCH.

All you have to do is enter the code I just gave you at check out. I received the code by email because I've bought from them before, but i see no reason why you shouldn't use it.

Yes, it's the one in Brewster....haven't' heard about one at the Ag Supply.....but we don't get the paper, either.

Had a nice visit with Ruth yesterday afternoon.
Haven't meet a chicken people I haven't like

But after seeing her coop up close I have renamed my coops " The Getto" but DON'T tell my girls. They think they live in the "taj mahal"
