She is a very kind person and a true friend! Always willing to help and very faithful! And she is raising her boys to be the same!

MMm,.. wine. One thing that compensates for living in a desert region is the fantastic wines that come from the horse heaven hills and walla walla. Yum!

I haven't been able to keep up, too many tests and a lot of clinical time. However, anyone know when the featherfanciers show is in Chehalis? Trying to figure out school schedule and show dates, but I'm missing that one!

ok folks are ya ready for this? I am probably going to try showing some of my RIR B and Am B. Just gotta find leg bands for 2 Am and 4 RIR B. I have no clue what I am doing and maybe my RIR are not all worthy of showing but at least I can't be acused of being a bench racer.
If it ain't been judged by others then it is just another bench racer.

According to most that have answered so far, Illia seemed to call all the cockerels at four weeks!

Let me know if anyone in Snohomish or King County has any interest in the cockerels for their flock.

That kind of hunting is called "driving" and it highly illegal.
You need to call the F&W line.
You CANNOT drive a herd from one property to another where you can then legally shoot it.
You cannot shoot a firarm in your type neighborhood, that is why they drop a guy off above & drive the herd down to a place where they CAN shoot it.
It is driving, and it is illegal.
You are supposed to pick a blind, get permission in a sfe area to discharge a firearm, and then you sit in it & waite.
Same for Elk.
Alot of guys team up on Elk, and drive them with quad-runners to the area where they can legally shoot.
It is illegal to do so!
Report it to Fish & Wildlife!
Alot of hunters get desperate now, last day is the 31st........
And ALL hunters MUST wear a safety orange vest & usually a cap.
NO hunter can legally hunt in just camo.
Get a license # if you can, and call F&W!!!!!!!!

mmm--- if you are shooting black powder (muzzleloaders) and it is muzzleloader season and a location approved for that ... you can wear camo
[ditto for bowhunting (archery) ]

which is why I do my hunting during those times; I hear too many people talk about "a great sound shot" .. so I avoid "modern firearm" season and areas, like the plague

especially good when you win one of the special areas, when you are the ONLY hunter allowed on that piece of property; often this is a tree farm so the deer have been browsing on fir seedlings, makes for a nice tasting venison

luckily we are in a no-shoot area here (in some ways lucky anyway) so no one will be shooting my chickens "thinking" they are turkeys

the deer come out and stand at the end of our access, thumb their noses at us, since they know we cannot shoot them here

ALL hunters can legally wear camo...........but ALL hunters, muzzleloaders or archery, MUST have Safety Orange vest/hat on in the field.
Period.
Even when we bow hunt we MUST wear safety orange.
My Dad calls it "Glo-Winkie Orange"
All shooters of everything shootible must wear glo-winkie!
