The kids at the Del's in Tumwater are on my list. You do not want to be on my list. They put two sacks of crumbles on top of the load straps and under a bale of orchard grass hay and pushed it all the way to the front of the bed, so there's no way to get it out without getting into the truck bed...which neither my husband nor myself can do. I was going to drop the hay into the wheel barrow and put it in the back yard under a tarp, and instead I spent that much energy plus more just getting a tarp over it so if it rains I won't lose two sacks of feed. I think I was a lot taller when we bought the thing in, what, 1998?

My husband has been on this list for a very long time, and he has already been told about this particular imperfection in his thinking.

Still don't know how I'm going to get to anything. Have to do it tomorrow and hope it doesn't rain tonight.

Yes, it is...

I wonder if I should try hatching some cheap eggs before I pay for the breeds I really want to hatch - since I've never done this before.

I vote yes, you are going to stress big time with the first batch. What kind of incubator did you get?

That is a very handsom Solomen Eclectus!

Very nice! I had to look it up. I see the females are red/purple - beautiful.

Yes they are un usual in that they are one of thefew where the F gets the color and the M is rather plain!

Oh I wouldn't say plain...they're still bright, not drab like many female birds are. But I agree, the females are more striking!

I just cut mine today too (still long), and dyed it all dark as the darker hair under the sun-bleached stuff does not snarl as bad when I swim. I wish I had those curls - mine is as straight as hair can be, not even a wave. I've given up on perms, because all they do is fry it, and it is still straight!

Chloe sure is a cutie!

I got the entry level Brinsea Octagon. I was *very* tempted to buy one of their little fully automatic ones, but so many egg auctions seem to be for 12+ eggs.
