trying to get the right flash or it washes out the blood ring all around the knee cap~~

Some angles it doesn't look too bad...I am hoping for no surgery.
This is the second time, and no repairative surgery was done to re-attach ligaments & tendons from the first time.
Not much holding the upper leg to the lower 2 bones, and had a torn miniscus in the first place...it is SHOT now...........

Note: the cuts on the knee, are where it hit the ground/gravel, while the lower leg was out paralell on the gound, sideways.
Imagine someone has a hand on your ankle, and your upper knee, the lower hand pulls violently outwards from the body, the upper hand shoves.
Classic football injury

Oh Robin! That looks AWFUL!!!! Reminds me of my mom's broken leg back in March! Her bones have healed, but her tendons/ligaments are still shot and may never fully recover. She just got the ok to take her brace off as she HAS to learn to trust those ligaments/tendons again and build up their strength. I hope it's not as bad as it looks and that you can avoid surgery!

I landed on the inside of the knee, while my lower leg was straight out sideways.
I felt the ripping tearing ligaments.
Boy did it look weird!!!
Then the pain hit.
This is the second time it has happened.
This knee joint could pop back & forth with floating/torn meniscus in the first place.
It is dangling meat right now.
The back of my knee is a complete blood bruise..that happened last time too..
Well I gotta go, my leg is down & my foot is throbbing..dang I HATE being bedridden!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stumpfarmer, I really want 2-4 butt roasts from sis, please let me know.
Her DH said they had none today....

I wanted to add here...the Whiskey is of no help, while I am on crutches, it is NOT A GOOD IDEA!!

The bad part about wearing a brace IS taking it off, and the weak muscles can cause another fall.
Gotta go!!
My foot is throbbing..........
