I was in Redmond today doing my first Christmas shopping. I kept thinking of that poor little boy Sky who is missing. So sad.

I'm worn out, and I think I may get my PJ's on, bring the laptop to bed, and see if I can find a movie to watch. We keep watching that on the TV. I don't believe a word she is saying...it is all fishy. That poor baby.

DH thinks the husband isn't right. Either way I fear the ending is not going to be good...

OK I banned him from the room.....Gotta go..ice pack is calling my name~~~~~~~~

Hey, I'm fine with that- I was offering to give the cockerels away with a sack of feed, remember: I have plenty of meat, small amounts of money, little time, and very limited energy levels.

We tried to get a bigger bin, but I can't close the bathroom door with the next size up, and I've got nowhere I can throw up a hoop house and heat it quickly- or do it at all right now, give that I'm flirting with pneumonia, and my only dedicated helper is in Europe until the 30th.

I've been actively trying to get rid of all but four or five of these guys since they were hatched, but nobody in the family is interested. Although my next-door cousin probably has enough chickens right now, thus:

(taken during the 67 minutes it wasn't raining today).

ETA: this isn't all of them, there were roosters crowing up in his coop and some more hens flew over the fence into the orchard later.

WOW Is that a mid 1950's IHC truck? She's a beauty just waitin to go to work.

No, it's a 49 IHC dump truck, and is part of My Cousin The Biker's rusting collection (although it was Dad's before that, and Archie Ferguson's originally).

(I learned to drive on that monster, and that may be part of the reason I've never had a driver's license).

I'm going to edit in a better photo, wait a sec.

Yes he was .See it wasin reply to my e-mail to him. And here was my reply.

Brian I think you may be surprised to know that I have done quite well at The Stevenson show and nearly all of my sales was to poultry people. However since it appears that you don’t want vendors and possibly walk in people at your show I will respect that.
Sincerely Rob Jenkins

Awesome! Glad you found it easy - there was some really good advice offered! I will go back and print much of it out! Now to figure out how to raise a turkey for next year...

Really cool. Husband loves these kind of clocks.

Me, Too!!! My granny had a wooden Cuckoo clock from Germany that had the pine-cone weights like that one. A little door would open on the hour and a little bird would come out and cuckoo the number of the hour. I miss that clock.

In general, this is what I think about our BYCers. And it shows you how to move a barn.
Sure hope this link takes.

Had to show DH and DM this it was great

I sent it to my DH also. I know he'll get a kick out of it.
