I can totally relate to that one. More than once I have called people about parking in the "blue zone". I am not very nice about that. I think the best was when I told a young guy he needed a placard to park in HC. He said "dude I am in a hurry". As I reached in the truck and started pulling out the tow chain. I told him part of that hurry better include moving that car or I will! Seems he didn't need to go into walmart that bad after all.

I love it CR.

I still feel guilty about using the HC space. I can walk, just hurts to walk. I am stubborn if I need to be, and I know I could walk into the store from the back forty if I needed too. But then I try to stand up when getting out of the car, and I am reminded why the doc let me have the placard.

Oh, yeah, that. I need to get my own placard; most days it doesn't matter but if I've been in the car too long it takes minutes to get out and straighten up all the way, especially in cold weather. It's just so non-critical, most of the time, because 90% of the time my husband's driving, and he has his placard, so it's OK.

I think that I am going to bring 2 cockerels to the show. I have been in denial about the genders of a few of my flock. I would have sworn that the remaining Ameraucana was a hen. That was until yesterday. I was looking into the run at the pretty all white bird, and that dirty cussed beast crowed at me.

I think I am a bit cranky. At least 2 of the light Sussex are roos also. I did find a forever home for one of the Light Sussex. We were at the vets and I got to talking about the chickens. One of the staff ladies mentioned that she was looking for a roo. I gave her choice. She took one of the light Sussex roos. He got a great forever home.

So I now have 2 roos that either will get re-homed, or we will need to eat them. I think that bringing them to the show will give them the best chance that they can get for finding a flock of their own.

I am going to need to look into what I will need to be able to sell them at the show.

Both my DDiL and I have disabled plates on our cars. My DDiL gets more snide looks for using a disable space because she is so young. But as soon as someone really sees her walking they tend to become more understanding. DDiL has a very bad form of MS. It was just less than 6 years ago when she was dancing at her wedding. This year will see her in a power wheelchair. It has been so hard watching this wonderful girl grow so sick so fast.

I do have thoughts about getting a car that isn't as low as my station wagon is. But until DH gets his pickup and its paid for, I am going to need to keep my wagon even if it's harder to get in and out of.

Those prices are great! 50 lb bags? I may have to make a trip out that wat. Going to Snohomish tomorrow to pick up my 1/4 beef; I wish they could hold it longer!

You can't beat a modern clock for time keeping. I have those, too. It's not important to me that the old ones keep time.

I agree! I love my Atomic clock. At least I always know what time it really is. The rather expensive Cuckoo clock we bought in Germany in 2004 has never kept good time. Even the clock shop couldn't get it adjusted perfectly. I don't really care if it keeps time right. I just like the sound of the Cuckoo.

HA I HAD one of them bomb clocks. What a waste mine was. It just kind of had it's own mind and it's own time zones. Didn't even make a good frisbee.

Yeah, the street where she left her car is the street I take to work everyday. There are signs on it advertising the hotline and saying please help find him. Very sad!
