We're trying to figure out if my son can come to Thanksgiving dinner from Ellensberg: he will have to drive both ways that day, to get to work that night* if that's the case, ugh. But the consensus of the weather gurus today seems to be that the snow level will be back to 5000 feet by Tuesday, and tomorrow and Sunday will not be very snowy.

Ah, crap, just scorched the rice I was cooking for the chickens, this is SINCERELY not my day.

*graveyard shift, stocking before the store opens and then working opening on the day after Thanksgiving, no time off, nobody wants to trade, who would have guessed?

At least you aren't alone. I scorched the rice here too tonight.

I can totally relate to that one. More than once I have called people about parking in the "blue zone". I am not very nice about that. I think the best was when I told a young guy he needed a placard to park in HC. He said "dude I am in a hurry". As I reached in the truck and started pulling out the tow chain. I told him part of that hurry better include moving that car or I will! Seems he didn't need to go into walmart that bad after all.

I love it CR.

I still feel guilty about using the HC space. I can walk, just hurts to walk. I am stubborn if I need to be, and I know I could walk into the store from the back forty if I needed too. But then I try to stand up when getting out of the car, and I am reminded why the doc let me have the placard.

No, it's a 49 IHC dump truck, and is part of My Cousin The Biker's rusting collection (although it was Dad's before that, and Archie Ferguson's originally).

(I learned to drive on that monster, and that may be part of the reason I've never had a driver's license).

I'm going to edit in a better photo, wait a sec.

I am very sorry that you aren't feeling well. As I tell my kids.... Aaahhh!!! poor little lambie. Somehow that seems to make them feel better. I still get calls from the kids asking me for the poor little lambie from the mom. lol Still I hope that this passes quickly. There always seems to be more to do than we can actually get done. I wish I was closer, because I could help some.

Snow? That ain't snow. (just kidding). I will try to take photos tomorrow of the snow in my back yard.

I do understand, but I must say wasn't expecting any. I guess my son got about 1" last night. It did melt very quickly. It is very easy here to see the snow level. The mountains start about 1 mile east of my house. There was snow on the top of Mount Peak all day.

I have approx 3 inches in my back yard. Seramas refuse to come out of the coop. DD was out playing in it until after dark...had to tell her to come in and eat.

Did have pretty snow in the trees .... well that was until we had a 4.6 earthquake. Sheesh. WAY too much excitement around here. I want rest tomrrow.

I was trying to get the humidity up a little- it's so dry in the house that it was making it harder to breathe- and decided to multi-task and make up some brown rice for the chooks.

OOPS.

You are bringing them as an educational display...so if you have to enter them than do so. Still put up your educational table. and mark the cages in whatever way is allowable.
