No.. he never got better. Took him to WADDL finally last Thur. He ended up having a hole in his heart. Poor lil guy, he was bones, but he kept trying, so I did too. I did a little thing on my blog about it, if you want to read the REST of the story.

Cindy.. Messy Marvin is NOT a white call.. no way no how.

I was about ready to run over some Charolers and jolly old elfs if they didn't get out of my way - did they not know they were slowing me down from getting to a Poultry Show...sheesh....prioritize people.

Can you say MAP & compass not GPS.

See this was a prime example of GPS FAIL! ! ! GPS are agreat tool but they require batteries, Satellite signal and will take the shortest route with out regard for what kind of snake trail that shortest road is.

Ya know I thought of it after it was too late. If I had sold you the other crate that is a little smaller I bet it would fit in yer truck.

You think Mr. Dooms is trying to get her into other call colors? I hope not,.. I love those butters (although I have to say the pastels were cute too)

I came from the North and had to leave going South instead of back the way I came due to the ONE WAY street. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Ended up driving through a HISTORICAL one way poorly planned nightmare tangle of streets! Finally found the freeway down about exit 77, Geez Louise.

I can certainly relate. At the March show I took way too many birds and was so busy taking care of them that I barely got a chance to talk with anyone else. I had several nice conversations with folks at this last one and met some new folks I hadn't before. Some were first timers and I had a few lengthy discussions with them. Unfortunately, the longer I talk with somebody the less time I have to do so with others.

Oh well, there's always March. Look forward to meeting a previous neighbor - so to speak - and another ex-Idiot Out Walking Around.

God Bless,

Royce, you goofball! You've met me several times. I'm the silkie exhibitor from SE WA that also has SLW. Jen/Jenni/Jennifer. Was wearing the ASBC apron for a good bit.

Don't feel too bad- I knew about the one way street and we still ended up missing the first freeway entrance because it's signed so poorly; my husband worked at CCC for ten years and I showed at the fair every year for decades and we STILL get misplaced in those towns (not as badly as my Aunt the professional delivery driver who once went up over Logan Hill by mistake- east and south of town when we were headed to the pump place on Ford Prairie road, which was north and west). The long one-way couplet and the train tracks and the rivers all make things more confusing than Sumner, even, although not up to the insanity which is West Seattle.

I don't know you, so you might think of me as a stranger, but I'm legit. I brought the HUGE box of silverware. When people asked em about the food, I told them to go ask Robin or Rob. Hope most were polite enough to ask.

I assumed they were strangers because after taking the food they wandered off with it. That's a big assumption on my part. I'm properly ashamed.

I wandered off to go talk to people, check my show birds, check my birds in the sale area, ask the raffle people if they wanted to be spelled for a bit, and I didn't bring a chair (couldn't fit one in my car) so I didn't have a place to sit. Also, I can't sit still at a show for very long to save my life! To many people to talk to, tease, things to look at, stuff to do, etc etc etc. I was in the ASBC apron and had a shirt with a syringe on it. I wandered in and out... talked with some people, and didn't stay in any one place too long. Don't feel guilty, as I am certain there were probably some people, especially kids, who thought the food was for everyone and helped themselves. The boy with the plate of baklava might have been a boy who I am fairly certain is special needs that was at the show.

Hi All;
My name is Carol and Red Reiner turned me to this thread. I live in La Center, Wa which is just a few miles north of Vancouver Wa. I very proudly raise English Orpingtons. I got my birds from Bamachicken. I am just thrilled with how they turned out. My girls are starting to lay consistently and I cant wait to start hatching after the first of the year. Here are a few pics that I took last week. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

Oh oh oh, I'm sorry. I did read about it on your blog but didn't make the connection. That was Voltron then. So sorry, Jen.
