Well, I have about 12 eggs in the incubator. the 6 from you and about 6 that I had from home (maybe a couple more). I guess I will know nex week when I candle them to see if there is anything exciting. The eggs I collected were protected (partially). They had been layed under the rabbit hutch, which is packed and surrounded with hay to keep the bunny (my garden fertilizer) warm. the hens had been getting up under the hutch in a nice cuddly spot to lay. Now to hope that they just did not get to cold. Yesterday's high was below 30. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hopefully they will replace it. I have the incubator going right now. I need to read on how often I have to "manually" rock it/move it. I still love the incubator.

They are fun...you looking to get into chicken nuggets? Cloverleaf had brought me 6 eggs - bemember?
Bumble - our pocket chicken - was cuddling all up with me last night tying my hair in nots and cheaping in my ear so loud . She kept flying to the top of my head. She is a crazy bird. They are fun. I know that someone on here could hook you up.

Gosh I feel like a drug dealer/pusher - only in my case I am a chicken dealer/pusher..."come on you know you want another"...."1 more won't hurt anyone"...."Take this one it will make you feel better".

Cloverleaf: I am reading up on class sizes. What sizes do you think/know your birds are? I need to reweigh mine. I don't think my scale was the best. Worst case scenario they are class D, but I don't think they can do table top for class D. but the eggs I got from you are bigger than mine (well not mine - you know what I mean - from Martha and Milly - be nice). LOL. Boy, I am goofy this morning. Sheesh.

Many keep them in the house in a small rabbit cage. They do not need a lot of room and are super friendly. Bumble is all about her people. Put a diaper on them to let them out or just dont worry about the occasional poop.
