Oh, I will take her...send her on over. She looks about the same age as Bumble.

She could be Bumble's co-house bird. put postage on her forehead and stick her in the mailbox.

I could fix her up with a little hobo stick and bandana full of scratch and give her a sign saying 4312's house or bust lol set her out by hiway 2 and hope she gets a ride?

Poor baby...send her my way...
....Hey you need to corrup/convince Sadie.

OK, I need the opinions of non-Ameraucana / non-Faverolles people...I'm not posting on the breed threads about this, because I already know what they would say...

My LF Ameraucanas aren't really "doing it" for me. I'm thinking about selling of the LF Ams in favor of starting a BBS LF Faverolles flock. There are a few scattered black and blue LF Favs here and there with a very limited number of folks working on them.

Pros vs Cons:

Pros:
Not many people have them.
I already have what I need to start them (salmon LF girls, an over sized black bantam boy) so no need to introduce another breed.
I LOVE Faverolles!!
I could really put my heart and soul into this project, where I can't seem to "get into" others I have tried to start with...

Cons:
They may never get recognized.
I don't have room for any more LF coops, so the LF Ams would have to go (I would still have my bantam Ams though).
It would be a LOOOOOONG project.

What do y'all think??

A number of years back, Karen was working with the white French Angora rabbits, breeding to get a blue-eyed white. It took a long time. And she succeeded. They were beautiful. Was it worth it? In her heart it was. So I say go with what your heart says. (I also say Go For It.)

Cheers,
Chris

You are on a roll, aren't you?

Maybe this will get the younger people to drain the thing; I suspect it's got crud in the bottom and the thermostat is jamming. It was cold here last night and I left a tap running.

Well, my thoughts go this way: it's a hobby, right, an avocation, something you do for love, and the fun* of it? Then do what you think you will love the most.

*Disclaimer: I have never done anythoing for love and the fun of it which did not include parts I hated and which were no fun. That's the way it goes, I guess.

OK, so is there anybody here that might be interested in a ready-made flock of Blue / Black LF Ameraucanas? (3 of the pullets carry lavender)......
