I just got the check for the birds I took to the sale. I took mine to Yard Birds and got $8. each. It will be interesting to see What Red Rooster got for hers at coal creek. No I am not turning this into a competition. Just trying to get an idea of how the prices compared on the same day.

This sucks because I have a couple orders to make. And as CL can tell ya I don't have a shop just a tin roof with a wall to block most wind.

All this chatting about sewing means I really should go work on the dog bed, before the dog won't be here to use it. I have feed sacks that I need make into totes also.

This means I am going to have clean up the quilting studio.

I can't sew in a mess, and I make messes everywhere I go.

Wow, people are quiet/busy today!

I had an unexpected work out helping my sister get a big round bale of hay (5") into the chute to feed the weanlings in the corral. Would prefer not to do that again any time soon.

I was gone all day making cookies at my boss's house....baked Christmas cookies all dang day and I don't even get any!!

Okay, I am really far behind. but needed to post results of tummy tests, then I will go make dinner and then try to catch up on pages.


Abdominal ultrasound: All good.

Upper GI and barium swallow:
Polyps in my stomach.
Also an "area" that did not "pick" up the contrast - so I am unsure exactly what that means. I should have asked more questions from the radiologist (who is a friend) but I meet with the MD the first of the year. Radiologist talked with MD directly. They are telling me I now need to be scheduled for an endoscopy so they can biopsy the polyps.

I will keep you updated.
