I did almost all my Christmas shopping on Etsy this year. I did order 1 items from a catalog, though. A Catapult kit for Alex. I'm hoping they will take it to Rattlesnake Lake and fling rocks into the lake, not my windows!

I still have alot of paintings...and I am NOT on Etsy anymore..too expensive an after a week I was buried under piles of other craftspeople............

What I really want is for someone to paint a panorama view of the Middle Fork Valley as seen from up here before my Doug Firs grow even more and hid it all. I want to hang it above my Fire Place.



The catapult that I got is also US made by a little family business. Other friends and teachers are getting jewelry I made since it did not sell well. I bought myself new kitchen towels and dishrags on Etsy ... exciting stuff. Olivia has an American Girl Doll, so I bought furniture and fake foods that people made. Not only is the price far better than the commercial crud, but the quality and detail is amazing. I also got her some hair accessories. My MIL and SIL both love their nasty little dogs, 90% of their Facebook Posts have to do with the life of their dogs. I found an artist who copies famous paintings and inserts various breeds of dogs into the scenes. I got them each 2 lithos with their little Shake and Piss dogs on them... got a few other things as well, but I can't remember what ... Alpaca wool shoe inserts, and something else.

This may be the wrong place to post this in which case I apologize and will repost elsewhere. I have too many birds, is there someone near Everett that does processing of birds and/or someone near Everett that is interested in picking up a few birds? I am looking to cut the flock by 1 big black australorp Roo and atleast 5 or 6 hens that recently went through their first molt and have just recently started laying again but I lost my job and cannot afford to keep all my birds so need to cut down the numbers. Advice would be great and yes I could Craigslist them but thought Id start with chicken peoples

The office building I work in is on the airport grounds in Yakima. Our neighbors include a police sub-station, and a fire station so sirens are not uncommon so I didn't notice the first three. By the fourth or fifth one I took notice. There were several ambulances lined up along the primary approach. I grabbed my binoculars (for squirrel usually) and went to the upstairs conference room. From there I was able to count seven ambulances and four fire trucks. Oh boy, there's about to be a plane crash. The binos help me locate the approaching Airbus A319. Its lands was, shall we say, quick. I've not seen a commercial (Frontier) jet land that quickly before ever. The fire trucks chased it. It turned around and beat feet back to the terminal. They don't normally taxi that quickly either. 136 passengers from Seattle to Denver had an unexpected layover in Yakima due to the smell of smoke. Fire officials thought it was the coffee maker. A few hours later a different Frontier jet landed and the folks were able to continue.

I will also be printing all 4 new paintings, 'Dock Otters' & 'Beach Ponies' and 'Buck Steelhead' and the elk.............'Nap in the Shade'

The Steelhead will be printed just after the first also...along with ;Dock Otters'& 'Nap in the Shade' Elk
