Yes, I do. They are aweful! One entered our dog, probably through the nose. One day there was a huge hard mass on her side. We took her to the vet who biopsied it thinking it some kind of cancer. Long story short, after many visits, dollars, drain tubes etc a foxtail ended up working its way out! As soon as it was out the lump healed and went away. Hate those things. Get into everything. I suppose they look good in Spring when green since it's the only green thing in Cali.

I have a pair of Georgia Boot Mud Dogs. I don't mess with brushes. I just hose them off. Keeps the foot dip cleaner too.

Yup...we have disconnected our hose bib several times already...but still have the boot dip.
Say, do your boots have any insulation?
I have to have WARM insulation...

Yes, they are insulated. I'm sure not like a Sorel though. But plenty for me. And they are pull ons so easy on and off.

How nice that you think of your dad like this. He must of been a wonderful guy!
Kinda funny because I was kinda feeling sorry for my family in a way because I lost my job 2 weeks ago and hubby has not worked in 2 years. We are now on food stamps and medical coupons for the kids. I didnt put a tree up and not 1 present was bought but I will say that I am going to read this to my husband and teens today. I am blessed to be alive and in a warm house with food on the table. There are so many less fortunate than us. I will give thanks because we have so much! Thanks for sharing with us all.

I put elastic laces on my Sorels so they are pull-ons too ... and the neat thing about them is that you can get replacement insulated-inserts (basically a whole inner boot) for them, if your old ones get damaged or worn ... unlike most of the insulated boots I have seen

Yes I have been a little busy the last couple days. Thursday a friend called and wanted one of the elk cut-outs. I didn't have one cut and he wanted it that afternoon.

Well when he showed up I had just finished it and it was still slightly warm. Kyle also ordered a couple more things for after next week.
Yesterday morning Diane's DD came to get her for an outing. (it's a rare happening)

I won't go into that she got her home after when I told her we were supposed to be someplace. Then I had 2 more friends show up at the same time to pick up items. And one placed an order. One who has been a friend for 30+ years apollogized for not coming when she said she would a few days ago. Seems she had a Dr. appointment that day got some bad news that understandably turned her world upside down for a bit. Then off to a friends shop party and to relay some items to cbreezerentals (BYC) in Tillamook, OR.

Just popping in for a quick post to wish everyone a Merry Merry Christmas!!!

Been super busy here this week with the kids and DH all home. I can sympathize with those who are sick, we have a nasty head cold in the house that all 3 kids have had. Dh thinks he's getting it too.

But on a happy note, we picked up an early Christmas gift on Wednesday, our new family member:

Red Rooster I am sorry to hear of your difficulties. Please don't anybody take this as me saying I have it any worse than others. I know what people are talking about when they say they are having a hard time. See I have been out of work since Feb 27, 2007. I have times when I think I can't go on or don't know how I am going to be able to pay basic bills. But then a few good things happen and all is good for a bit. Not to brag but I honestly feel that because I try to help others when I can it helps me.
This year we like many have no tree or decorations and no gifts. DW and I will have a normal night at home tonight and tomorow go to her brothers for dinner.
I am so poor I can't pay attention but I am wealthy. I recently went for a job interview and the two women said "In one word describe yourself" I paused for a mnute looked right at them and said WEALTHY. One said what do you mean? I said well see I don't have money but I am wealthy because I have things that money cant buy. I have a wealth of knowledge. I have a wealth of skills and I have a wealth awesome friends. I AM A WEALTHY MAN
