MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

CR, does Diane need some lady pocket chickens? We currently have a few we are looking to re-home. Let me know. They are pet quality, mostly black. We also are hatching a lot of Serama's out, have 2 newly hatched and 3 more to go tonight or tomorrow. Than on Jan 2nd Laura/Castle Delight is sending me more eggs (and maybe Cloverleaf too!), so if I have a good hatch there, I'll have extra chicks. Just let me know!

Just understand that teen chickens are as dumb as crooked post so toss em out when you have a couple days off so when dark comes you can check if they went IN the coop rather then "stuck" somewhere outside cuz they are lost and can't find their way out of paper bag.....

*can ya tell I've have teen birds who are smart enough to go in the garden gate to eat but to stupid to go out the gate to coop?

Hey I am sure that everybody knows that Humming birds are the ONLY bird that can fly backwards right !!! WRONG ! ! ! ! I have an AM B that proved that false today. See as I tried to walk into the run he came at me. Didn't even want me in the door. Then he came at me spuring like mad. I used my foot to push him away and he came back hard he was looking for a fight. So the next time as he got to my foot I pointed my toe and kind of scooped him away. He flew about 3'up and back about 6-8. It was a beautiful moon flight ( you know like moon walk). well he came right back so I picked him up and held him. He tried to peck my hand I tapped his beak and told him NO. Then I just held him and messed with his head, neck and back for about 10 minutes. When I set him down he ran off to his girls and stood all tall looking around like "you ladies didn't see me get my but whooped did ya" lol

Also the feed bag Tote lady showed up today and surprised DW with her pink tote and she gave her a green one too. DW was so happy with this tiny little surprise.

Does that mean you do want some ladies? Or chicks? Let me know. I think I have two pullets available. Won't know how many chicks until 3rd week in Jan. They (the pullets and/or extra chicks) are yours if you want them!

We would have sent our card to everyone but only did to those we have the addresses for.

Our card was a folded one so this image shows front, middle, and back sides.

OK well it sounds like Diane does NOT want any ladies (for now lol). but thanks for the offer. It's probablly best that we go slow here and see how we do with Pierre.

My Mom's daffodils and stuff are trying to grow! we covered them with all the fall leaves from the trees to keep em warm when it turns colder. hope they survive!
