Illia, so sorry about your Roo! Poor guy. I hate it when they have to go that way. I'll just keep plugging away with what I have. If you ever decide you want to start up with the Wheaten/Blue Wheaten let me know. I can get some eggs or chicks to you. We have the same line.

Happy New Year all! Hope this year brings healing and prosperity.

I think my word/words for 2012 is 'debt free'! Might have to get a "real Job" for a few years plus keep the farm going but it will be a lot easier to farm later when there are less bills to pay. Looking at a shipyard job. Thats the only kind of job that would be worth it, besides I need medical insurance. Also tired of being dependent on someone else to pay the mortgage. Well, maybe I'll change my word to 'selfsufficient'.

A raccoon or so I believe got into his coop, pulled him out, dragged him around the run and they had quite a battle which he won. That morniing I found his feathers all over the place but strangely all he had was missing feathers around the back and a bloodied comb. Ok, so I am caught up, send the garden list to rainwolf, arranged driving directions for an egg buyer in Bellingham to meet me to buy eggs... and now, I will go do chores.
