Tonight I have to go play the wifey role. DH's bosses boss is having a get together at his house. Haven't done this in awhile and don't really know most of the folks that DH works with these days, so many re-org's where he is. So it will either be awful or turn out fun. Wish me some fun please!!!!!! Hope everyone else is having a nice Friday night!

Unfortunately neither of these things release me from animal care or other household duties. I need respite care or something.

I've entered the sincerely drunk stage of sleep deprivation, which will make cooking dinner an adventure, but after that I'm done for the day- DD came by and took care of the bathroom chickies for me, and then drove me to group health to order contacts, where I found out I've got a benefit available and am therefore NOT BROKE!!! so the endorphins for that have cheered me right up.

And it didn't rain or snow today, and people can drive up and down the driveway right up, and right down, just as if it were not an extraordinary thing to be able to park your car right next to the house! WOW.

goes to show you that I know just enough about computers to be dangerous, so instead I simply tell Dangerous Dan what I want to do with the computer, and he, who speaketh computer as his first language, (and is nearly impossible to understand when he talks what he THINKS is standard English), puts in or modifies what he knows will do the job I want to do

I went to my computer geek's shop & he is down & out with the current bug, closed til Monday (id he is well)
So went to Walmart as my sister instructed me, to LOOK at other computers, which I did, and every one of them has at least 4 GB RAM............I have 512MB
So I goes to the shop geek & asks him, what is 512 MB ?
He says (same as someone else here said) It is about one half of one GB.
So the brain thought for a moment & then came back with this:
I have 1/2 of one GB of RAM !!!!!!!!!!!!
And everyone else has at least 7 1/2 X more RAM than I do.
So there is 100 NB per 1 GB.
That I did not know~~
He said is you computer stuttering & freezing ?
I said yes !
he said it probably has been since the day after you plugged it in !
I said well, no, just recently, actually.....
Anyways, what I need is a big RAM board put in, no biggy, should have had one in the first place but heh...this was gigted by the kids (our kids) 5 years ago~~~~~~~

Are by the "Storm King" cabins? I thinks thats their name. We have stayed their for our anniversary. Neat place!

Not too far from those cabins but further up! We live up here year round but there are only 10 or 12 others that live in our little complex of 58 the year round. I love it up here, so preacful and nor stress!
