Thanks much, I'll get through. I've entered the sincerely drunk stage of sleep deprivation, which will make cooking dinner an adventure, but after that I'm done for the day- DD came by and took care of the bathroom chickies for me, and then drove me to group health to order contacts, where I found out I've got a benefit available and am therefore NOT BROKE!!! so the endorphins for that have cheered me right up.

And it didn't rain or snow today, and people can drive up and down the driveway right up, and right down, just as if it were not an extraordinary thing to be able to park your car right next to the house! WOW.

I hope you got some decent sleep!
That's great about the contacts, it's like an extra bonus when you find out you don't have to pay for something out of pocket! :celebrate

The best thing about the contacts is that I can afford to have the hired help in next week, and therefore make incremental progress on everything!

I slept pretty well last night, yes, thanks to accidentally taking two melatonin!

SF: We have had this new high speed fiber optic line installed under ground just about 2 years ago or so.
It is monsterously large, in expectations of someday having people live out here (besides us) the cable being the size of my fore arm !
And of course they insist it could not be them, but I must say they are lickty split fast sending out a repair dude who can test it all from both ends.
I believe the problem we have is the spur, which seems it would be illegal even, goes to 3 homes before it gets to us, and we are the end.
Why we do not have our own line (like phones & power) I do not know, but maybe if I complain enough, which I have not, they might do something about it.

The finally talk with Toni was the last timer test:

Will the washer spin in any other cycle ?

She texted back: no

So that seals it, it is NOT the timer (fried in the regular wash cycle) it is sending a signal to the transmission & the tranny is dead, not moving except in agitate cycle.
Looks like T needs a new/used washer...anyone have one ?

Oh and P.S. We just took the W&D to Toni, the W&D were donated kindly by Broodytood & hubby.
So...just sayin'

OK, off to unload my trailer of gravel over the mucky snotty clay out here...later peeps !

Get this....Comcast Ixfinety sent me an e-mail yesterday that for a limited time, for just $10 extra, they can give me SUPER high speed internet !
Like what, is mine dialed down?Ho
w do they speed it up or slow it down ?If ya got a
signal, ya got a signal !!!

We already have "high speed internet" !!!!!!!

Do you have an alternative to Comcast for service? We're out in the sticks of S.D. county and went with a local provider after research showed that traditional internet providers had such spotty coverage that internet connectivity was horrible. Our ISP uses radio signals. He has a tower on his mountain-top property and anyone who's line-of-sight with him can be a customer. It's not brilliant - still slower than the U-verse connection I had in the city, which I loved, and tends to get really clogged up when it rains (wet tree branches hanging down in front of the dish) - but it sure beats traditional providers out here (inclusing Cox Cable and DirecTV) for speed and connectivity.

yes I am waiting impatiently for pics of your hoss son,

You are more than welcome to swing by. I will PM you my phone number.

A sad note. Last week I finally made the decision to let Puppy aka the Big Dog go to the rainbow bridge. I hope that somehow he might be with my Kaitlyn and that they will be playing together, until it's time for me to join them. Puppy was losing weight, and was chewing holes in his hide. We just couldn't control the allergies anymore. He would have been 13 years old on February 10th. He out lived his life expectancy by many years. I miss him.

Im so sorry.
I got to cry all last night I lost my moms goat named Violet she was one of our first goats here. So I cried for the goat than Mom than grandma ( her name was Violet) Than mom again... My poor husband didnt know what to do with me...

So, justbugged and Zgoatlady are from Enumclaw. (Enumscratch as we used to call it and sadly think that was a clever zing...). I grew up down the road in Buckley. I know, I know, arch rivals and all that, but since you were bigger and usually better at everything, I hope you'll forgive me for my origins. In fact, during high school I saw a list of the class offerings at Enumclaw High and was green with envy, you had so much more variety than we did at White River. I personally would have changed schools in a heartbeat. This no doubt reveals a sad lack of school spirit, but it was what it was.
Any Buckley people ever check in here? Haven't been back there in a few years now, since my parents passed, but used to get back several times a year and was always amazed at the growth (and the traffic!) compared to when I lived there. Of course, I graduated from HS in 1981, ao it's been a long time....

Oh doesnt bother me that you are from Buckley, I didnt grow up here. Im from Burien area. Do love it out here
