I can't find the card of the woman at the Oly Farmer's Market who has meat goat kids, and remembered while I was looking that she usually sells bottle babies (which I so do not have time for, and have therefore not bought) but I'll keep looking in case I find it and will PM you with the number.

I can call a few people for you, I know a few meat goat people just wanted to know why that breed..

I was hoping she's sold to someone who was going to sell backgrounded doelings, myself; I'm prejudiced by raising beef cattle all my life, and in my experience milk breeds in general, goat or cow, have more milk than their own offspring are ever likely to use, so you need to milk or graft other babies on and in general deal with more hassle and mastitis.
