I was very happy to meet you. And the "chicken chase" wasnt that much of a chase. Thats why I love the English orps. They are so darn mellow. Most other breeds would have been over the freeway in a heartbeat. I hope you enjoy them and please keep us updated on how they do and how they produce.

Oh yes chasing the chicken, not as bad as the time last year at the Monroe show with 4312 and a BCM, it took us a bit to get that bird. Poor 4312 she was great with getting her will never forget that.
That's funny about what the guy said. I do egg swaps like that and one time I half expect a Police officer to stop me and see what I'm doing.. Oh officer please its just chicken eggs really

. That or when I meet people for my goat milk soap too in parking lots..

I so remember this. What a way to meet people for the first day. It was great. Poor chicken.

Ive had a few of my BCM girls be great Moms. They would do anything for the chicks.

I am infested with Broody Buckeyes.............awesome mamas but it is still too cold for babies out in the big coop........I have 2 hens broody in 1 nestbox...had to seperate them & stick them in another pen altogether !

Had a very nice but all too brief visit with pettech and her DH today. Her DH seems like such a nice guy I am still trying to figure out he got stuck with such a brat as Julie. I mean really she stole the 7 AmB and 3 RIRB eggs that I had been collecting to hatch. And she stole a jar of my "gold" and put it in DH's pocket so he would get blamed for it.

REALLY??? You are dissen me in front of my peeps?? CR everyone on here KNOWS YOU!!!!

And ya know what?? I now know where you live!!!

What our friend is really trying to say is he was very kind and offered us some eggs, and I fell in love with his little RIRBs and he was very nice and let me have three eggs!!! Terry really liked CR, can you believe that??? They are already cooking up some trading for work kinda stuff!!!

We had a great time visiting with CR and his DW and the house chicken who kept crowing and all the chickens!!! WHAT EVER CR!!!! lol!

Well we have arrived at the Days Inn in Tukwila, have to take the shuttle to the VA EARLY in the am, soooo glad it's not raining!!!
Anyway, just thought I would get on and say hey!! And find out I have to defend my honor!!! Jeez!!!!

I had .18 Mbps download & upload was .06 Mbps
I called Comcast & got some computer system in Bumf&&&K someplace.......they finally connected me to a human in Kansas or some place who """testted""" my system an listened to my gripe and said she saw no connectivity issues with my system & maybe "it" was my computer.
I reminded her that this is an on going issue, and my computer empties katche everytime I shut it off and is instructed to do so and it has zero issue as to if I have connectivity or not.
She """tested""" again...and very politely made no insenuations as to their being a connectivity issue....but after my blast of $185 a month for 2 years now and NO HIGH SPEED INTERNET HERE !!!!!!!!!!
Despite the guys came out a few months ago & installed a signal booster.............NO IMPROVEMENT !!!!!!!!
She said a truck would be out here tomorrow at 3-5 PM...and thereby test when the system is weak (so I said)
Crapola !!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention, as soon as I shut off my phone, POW my computer had connectivity again...so here I am !
Now I gotta go, tired, eventful trip with tire blowing up, etc...but we are home, eggs & chickies all fine....GOOD NIGHT PEEPS !!!!!!!

Darn it. Now I want to go home and love up my birds before they go to bed. When I'm covering the shop like this I don't get home until after 6 PM and they've already gone to roost... I miss them when I don't get off at 3 PM like usual!

I'm so glad today's a better day. And what a great report about Olivia from her teacher! It does sound as though they've got a huge bullying problem. And I think you're absolutely right - running to the counselor every time they're getting bullied isn't the answer. I love your solution! You brought your kids together and as a team figured out a solution that wowrks for them. Which shows just how great a parent you are.
Are you willing to share the responses they came up with? I bet they're brilliant
