NOPE Sorry but it is too far and (In my opinion) not worth all the trouble for me. I am banking up for Stevenson then Canby May 5 and the tour of winery's May 5&6.

If I had my paintings all ready, I'd go to the Winery Tour for sure.
I have 4 or 5 originals to send out to be printed...and then mat & fame & sell the prints.
I will no longer sell my original work as I have done for most of my life.

So, interesting find at the Doctor's Office...
Hanging on the bulletin board were a sheaf of printed forms & I took one.
It is for the Senior Nutrition Program, in which Farmer's Markets and Roadside Stands can help to promote Senior health.
No address or phone # so I went to the Senior Center & they told me this program starts in a few weeks and gave me a phone # of a woman handling it in Grays Harbor County.
I expect I have to qualify, and after that they will pay for produce & eggs, etc for the Senior Program.
Have to have what is called "Certified Farmer"..........wonder what that is ?????

So when I find out, I'll let ya all know !

Not that there isn't a hospital exactly across the street from Monroe fairgrounds ha ha !

Well so far the only restrictions I have been put on is 35lb weight limit and to stop working as soon as possible. I will have to ask her what she thinks of me taking a boat ride and 20 minute drive. If I do get to go, I wont be doing a whole lot. lol Mainy sitting and chatting with everyone. If Im up on my feet to long, I tend to put mysef into braxtonhics contractions. They may not be the "real" thing, but MAN do they suck!

We had the same thing happen about 3 yrs ago. Ordered 60+ birds, over half were dead. They send the replacements, over 30, therre was only ONE chick peeping in the box when DH picked it up at the PO. We went thru the box one by one and manage to salvage 2 more who were pretty lifeless, but once they warmed up they came to life and were fine.

That was our last order. We bought our first incubator after that and hatch our own out now. For some reason, having hatching eggs shipped to me that don't hatch doesn't bother me as much as having a box of dead chicks mailed to me!!!! :hit

I do think it had to do with having them shipped in Feb. If I ever did it again, I'd wait until April at least!

I agree. I got 25 chicks total and lost 2 and I cried. Β I am looking into getting a incubator. My only worry is I will end up with a batch of roos that I cant have and not know what I will do with them. But I think my kids would love watching them hatch.Β

I just process my extra roosters like you will do with the meat birds. Just means more meat for the freezer/eating so no worries.
