So where is everyone? I took two of our kind of wild kittens in to get fixed, than on Fri Im going to do the other 3 girls.. I was told since they are wild they will fix them for free and give them shots and all that stuff. Very nice I have some money to do the two and than had to do the next 3 later but this way I can get them all done and not have to worry about more kittens...Now just have to get the mom cat and I dont know if she's even around here anymore.
OH OH my girls are just starting to lay now got9 eggs last night...

Eggs are always a good thing. I haven't gotten any in 2 days

I'm around. I noticed earlier- no posts all night.
I did the same thing with wild kittens several years ago. I caught the mom in a dog crate with a rope tied to the door running into the house. It's great you found a resource to get thyem fixed and vaccinated for free.

Thank you for asking, they seem to be doing ok. So I think we are going to be good. Which is nice.

Haven't read posts since early evening yesterday and I am bawling! Thinking of others and their beloved pets. Thinking of my own I've had to let go. I just want to say that I am so thankful for all my peeps on BYC and all the things we share and are so there for everyone. This is truly a family!

We had our dear beloved Chloe euthanized by our horse vet who offered to come by the house at no charge! (thank you Bo) She was still wagging her tail. The dear girl. BYC is so full of people who understand the true spirit of our pets be it horse, dog, cat, chicken etc. I don't think there is anywhere there is such a group of more caring understanding people than BYC.

I feel the same way. Have to say I stepped away for a few months due to my son and his wife's trouble last year. Figure I so didn't want to bring everyone down with me. But you know there is a lot of good people on here and they can really help pull you through it..

This thread has a true sense of community, and camaraderie that I find quite rare in other places.

We share ideas, information, we look out for each other and have parties together. In times of trouble we try to help and in good times we celebrate.

and at the risk of a mod's ire, I like it that we come from all backgrounds, religions, political affiliations, AND IT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE WE ARE "friends".

It's OK to take a step back. But know we are not in your struggles the same way you are so you will not bring us down. I know as a parent when our children are struggling we can be heartbroken for them and its seems there is no way out but through it which may be so but you don't have to go through it alone. I have felt through my own struggles that I ache to share, I may have been disrespectful to others in my family that may have not appreciated me sharing TMI. If you feel you don't want to share openly in public there are always PM's. But if you need a break too, I totally understand. I've been there many times!
