ROFLMAO It probably serve you right. Poor guy you must have done something to deserve a day a the g-sales. (P.S. If you haven't then you should be able to get away with something at least once)

P.S.S the I think that the ROFLMAO would have been funnier if I hadn't had to look it up in a online Urban dictionary.

P.S.S.S. Oh dear I told on myself

P.S.S.S.S. They don't give people like me addresses for nice places like this g-sale. Besides I think that I would need a day pass.

That's about what I hope someone would use them for, they're supposed to be a highly aggressive breed, and they're slow maturing, so it would be awhile before you could do it. When I say slow maturing, I mean, they're 4 weeks old and still just fuzz and a few wing feathers. I just don't want someone to take them and use them for cockfighting. Freezer camp would be way better. I'm trying to track down some hatching eggs to try for more pullets, but they're few and far between. All the (big) hatcheries seem to be sold out for the year as well.

ETA: That's assuming you're talking about mine and not Sparkels...

Hi! I live just outside of Monroe, and I want to share some info with you!! I have been toying with the idea of growing meat chickens and turkeys, but I don't want to have to process them myself. I have found a place that does processing! Here's the info...

The Meat Shop
Tacoma
www.meatshopoftacoma.com
(253)537-4490

The cost is $3-$5 per chicken, and $10 per turkey. They have a couple of dates per month on average, those dates are set when they get enough birds to do. They like a minimum of 150, and a maximum of 350. These guys do an EXCELLENT job with our beef and pork every year, and they make the BEST pork sausage!!!!!!!!!

No you just take your birds to the auction and drop them off. The check will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. You need a license if you sell your eggs off or your farm, say at a farmers market or to a store. But if you sell them direct like to family and neighbors, or someone that comes to your farm there is no license requirement.

Going to the auction however is way too much fun. I didn't know what I was missing until I went.

So do "hatching eggs" count as selling eggs? sorry, just trying to figure it all out

The problem with this is that they were my first babies. I tried to sell them on CL but they don't look like cochins, which they are, so nobody responded.
