My DH knows to call you. And not at night. Told him that when I go into labor, if its at night he is to call you the net morning. lol He just smiled and said "ok honey." lol He's been kissing my rear lately, its been kinda nice! Not used to all the attention anymore.

If my math is right, I will be at 10 months in a week. lol Im done, but also done stressing out over it.

Hi all
frow.gif

Sorry I've been gone so long.
Mom was not well. BC.
Anyways, BY GOLLY...I THINK I FINALLY HAVE A LAVENDER DUCKLING.
He is SHINEY SILVER with a HINT of PINK and a splash of purple on the bill.

So pretty.
After 30 ducklings and a whole lot of yucks. (I forgot to boost their diet. Long story.)
Anyways, I am excited and thought I should share.
ALSO>>>
I bought a frozen silky today for my mom and guess how much?
$10

Is that the going rate for silkys? Ive not bought a bird in 20 years.
That is more expensive than wild Salmon! The darn thing weighs almost nothing.
It was not free range or organic. Just plucked and frozen. LOL
So thought I should share that too.
CL, I hope you are selling yours for a good price.

Okay, had to reboot computer. Dumb thing.

Wanted to say I went to Feed Store and happened to walk by the chicks. I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself and we now have 4 Golden Comets inthe kitchen. They will go into my "layer pen" (which is just the pen for house eggs). I read up where they are good dependable layers and can tolerate pretty cold weather. Sounds like a good bird for my area.

Okay and I want comments:

We just had a Big R open up. They have an incubator it is a styrofoam, still air.....by Little Giant. It is only $50. I was wondering what anyone thought as this one for a hatching incubator? If it is a NO...I need to know. I will probably make one if the Little Giant is a no go. I a working on my cabinet incubator right now. Got parts orderded. Cut the hole in the door and have put plexiglas on. The silicone doesn't seem to hold all that well so we are going to pop rivet it together. Took out the top element. Try to work on it this weekend...but DH has a fly fishing thing to go to...I think he needs to get his priorities straight and finish my incubator.....

Don't you?

Your mother loved you more than my mother loved me. I wasn't allowed to play with Kool Aide. Come to think of it, I never got to have a white cat until after I was married.

Maybe there was a reason that I was only allowed to have orange boy cats after all.

The only thing my LG is good for maybe lock down. So far both the Hovabator and the LG seem to need the fan at the minimum.

DH and I both have had tanks since we were kids. So far all we have ever had were fresh water tanks. My DMiL and DSiL have both done the salt tanks. The only thing I truly caught was that the cheap fish will always eat the expensive fish. It also doesn't help that I know that I want an expensive fish. The tank I have now is better than any I have ever owned before. I adore the eel. We also put the 46 gallon tank back together for the little fish. I am going to have fun collecting Cardinal Tetras for awhile. I am hoping to have 50 to 70 tetras in the same tank. I love to watch them school together.

4312 and everyone,
BYC has been glitchy lately with IE especially. Rebooting and clearing your Hx helps. I found clicking on the compatibility button also helps, and is quick and simple. It is the torn page button in the red circle. It is usually blue, but the glitchinesss was changing colors on me. There were posting issues as well. I was unable to post for days. Crazy huh? Seems to be better now.
The compatibility button is supposed to help different systems work better together.
