I will tell you that my DH LOVES getting the egg and rabbit money and goes right into his pocket and if I put 6 more chickens in the pen he would never know, after construction, he rarely ever goes out into any of the coops.

Hello. I live in north Seattle and am getting my first chicks in a week or two. My son is brooding a batch. Since he's only allowed three in the city, I'm taking his extras. I found a cedar A-frame chicken tractor in Craig's list that should be coming sometime this week. I'll be getting a BO, a RIR, A WL, and an Amercauna. I hope the frame is as raccoon proof as it says it, because I know we have them in the neighborhood. Otherwise the yard is completely fenced in with 5' and 6' fencing. Our old, blind basset hound would have been an issue in his younger days, but not anymore. I am looking forward to hearing from local chicken hobbyists.

Ok I am 1 determined and stubborn Italiano!!! I was going to have the Duck Hotel painted today!! So I gave Mother nature the big finger and had 1 daughter and her friend blow dry the paint as the other daughter and I painted!!! Come hell or high water we were going to get it done!

We got the roofing shingles nailed on too! Now all we have left is the back door into the hotel, the supports for the hardware cloth, the gate into the front of the run, attach hardware cloth. Oh and then paint the trim on the supports and paint the door and gate and the bottom foundation wood! '

So of course we are expecting a winter storm for the rest of the week!! What the heck!!! I am so done with this rain crap!! I am going to have to go to a tanning booth to get some sun before going to my parents in Mexico in July!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! '
