So my hatch is suppose to start tomorrow but the sizzle are starting early, have two out. I dont want to even look at the incubator dont want to see that the legbars are not hatching. I havent been this bad for a while..

My Evening was interesting so far.... here's how it went... dont die laughing...

soo.. my mother haulers at me in a "panic"... so my first thought was "oh lord our Orpington died"....as I was headed to the room with the chicks I asked what was wrong.. she goes "you'll see when u get in here"....oooooo k..... I go in there seeing my mother hovered over the "holding cell" thinking.."yup she died, time for birdie burial".... As I peer into the "Holding Cell" -- I see MASS saw dust...& MY bird BlueBelle having a field day "bathing" in this "wet" pile of saw dust..... goofy lil things had some how knocked over their water container which spilled over the Pellets, which then formed into a massive Fine, "wet" pile ...& my lil bird all covered in the wet stuff... OOOOOH YES! she saw that & went "Yay BATH TIME!"....Not!.....lol--- so had to hurry & get them lil buggers outta there & clean it all up... Goofy Lil Birds!

I did not tell DH about Mikey..................after he was such an donkey when CR conked his noggin...................never agin...I told DH if he wants to comment, then he needs his own user name...I still do not know if that is possible on the same web link ?
Wouldn't it be a kick though ?
Least he'd quite using my user name !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank fully Mikey did not remove the entire thumb !
And once again I am worried about the upcoming house build= accidents can happen !

heehee =) She's still about the same. No change really. She just doesnt seem to be really "growing" per say. Her feathers are being really,really slow on coming in - it's even been a few days & they should have been in more so than what they were. I noticed she really doesnt have as much strength in her legs like the other birds either... kind of a "limp noodle" I guess. She doesnt really try to work her wings either to build them up. It's like she's stuck in "baby chick" stage, not sure how to really explain it. She eats, drinks, poops, moves around a little... no mucus, eyes are fine-- I dont see parasites in poo or anything else. Guess she's just super slow in developing? Bad time in egg?.. I dont know... Frizzles had bout caught up to her being week younger.. the other birds are waaaay past her in development...

Not sure what to really do besides what we've been doing... keeping watch on her & keeping her inside so she doesnt freeze

. Her baby fluff is so fine & spots where the feathers are "trying" to come in, have bout fallen out... poor thing is a rather late bloomer. Dont know what she's going to do when it's time to move the Frizzles... the one has attached to her......

Not to mention last year Tamera & I both drilled completly threw our thumbs via phillips tip on the drill gun.......dang they go through meat fast !!!!!! And make a BIG HOLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs...............they DO get in the way, but we cannot do without them either !
