So my Cream Legbars only had one egg hatch go a cute little girl and of course the Sizzle did pretty good. I left the CL eggs in the incubator to see if they will hatch. Im not holding my breath. I will have a hatch again on the 6th of blue eggs but not the CL..
Oh I need to run and get stuff done around here have to go to work early..
Great, now everyone thinks the CL eggs are from me...that explains alot.
I have recieved a few PMs that said the CL eggs they heard of were not very hatchble........................

Just checking in with everyone to say HI.... I got my turkeys yesterday and so far they are doing great. I hope they all make it. MY Red broilers are already getting big SO far I like them a lot better then the Cornish Crosses. Well I hope everyone is doing well

What if I just raise the food each evening to the height of the roof? That way I dont have to find a nighttime home for the food. Should be easy with an S hook...
You can install a roller, Pulley what ever ya wanna call it, and hoist the feeder UP out of rodent jumping range, wheich is about 6 feet as what I hear.
But it is so much easier to just put the food away or feed them IN COOP in the first place.

DO NOT BROOD THEM ON SHAVINGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use newspaper or sand !

I didn't really think that was an option, so many people have told me that feed and water should stay upside once they're grown to reduce mess in the coop, but I could just as easily leave the hanging feeder in the coop I guess. Won't that make them more likely to frequent the coop all day and make more poop mess instead of stay outside and free range? Thanks for answering all my ???s, I'm still super new to all this!

Hello fellow chicken lovers, I have 2 places. Spokane south hill and Nine Mile Falls. I have 2 incubaters going right now. I hope i do this right.

They ended up calling me, my son handed me the phone while I was in the barn and a few of the girls were in the middle of an egg song. I agree it is just one of the ways they’re trying to control track the American people.
If you throw them out and don't respond, they will call you. I get them for my "farm" even though I only have a backyard flock, and for college grads. The college one is very long, and I quit my education related job 13 years ago, so I hate filling the darn thing out. They will call and hound you until it is done. I ended up doing them over the phone.

Well we figured out how we could configure the kennel outside to make the run, now we just have to get the coop leveled and set down on blocks permanently, and the run permanently attached! Coming together, slowly but surely!
That is great, I need to start a coop like RFF is going to do but Im just going to have one that has two sides to it. That way I will have to stop getting chicks and new breeds. I do think Im close at stopping with the breeds I have now.

I hope
