Quote: Half my flock will come in the house if I leave the door open, they have even hopped up on the counter to see what I was making for lunch. That was the first time they came in the house and the one that hopped up scared the ever living crud out of me, but DH must never find out they come in the house
. I only have two hens that take a two day break, some of them take one day off. But the leghorns and a few others have not taken a day off sense I got them. I just want as much color variety in my eggs as I can get.
I can't remember who it was on here that said somthing about a thunderstorm in their area today but who ever it was passed the storm off on us. But it must be more on you because about an hour ago I told DH we were going to have a storm. It began to sprinkle, I said " you ready for thunder?" he said not going to happen. Not even 2 min later the huge rumble came, wind was almost blowing trees over and I had to hurry and cook dinner as the lights were flickering. Luckily that was it, no power loss and now the clouds are rolling away and the sun is back out again.

Quote: Oh wow, I am a bit slow on things like that. My feed store (Bothel Feed Center I call mine
) was giving me a hard time yesterday because I told them that I was only selling my pullets for $10 each. They said "NO SARAH, you have to at least ask $15-20 like everyone elts does" I told them I don't wanna be like everyone elts and that I have a hard time finding chickens at a decent price so I figured I would make it easier on others.
