geeeze ! I need some badly and we just drove to Monroe Sunday and went right by there on our way home.
Darn !
Greg, where did you go to high school ?

Is there a "Star Bright" that is also a Michelle on here? I just saw a message on my Spaces page saying you wanted some Ameraucanas. The message was date January. If you see this, send me a personal email and I'm sorry I didn't see your message sooner.

God Bless,

OK, I went to school with a John and Greg Richardson, but in California.
Wish I could nab a few windows, darn it, but we will not be up that way for a while.

That's an understatement! lol

OOOH and my Marans and Ameraucanas went into lockdown this morning! Out of 18 eggs only 9 have made it this far, 6 Ameraucanas and 3 Marans.

Luckily I have a dozen BC Marans eggs on the way! oh and 15 Barnevelders, and 12 (possibly 12 more from another source) Welsummers. Looks like no summer vacation for me this year lol Oh well! I would so rather hatch a few more batches of eggs!

Boy I hope you have a couple of big brooders to put all these babies in !
You are going to have chicks eveywhere !!!

My "middle" brooder is on the little kitchen counter, and this morning the 4 day old guinea keets changed their peeps to a "wah-peep" noise, so must have at least 1 hen.
They are starting to morph a little too, heads elongating, wing feathers naturally growing and drooping and they walk so differently.
I do have a question for you all, I have not raised Guinea before, so want to ask :
Will pearl and royal purple guineas mate ?
Will 2 different varieties of Guineas mate or do they only mate with their own ?
I will go on the Guinea thread later, but just wondering if any of you know.
