Euthanasia is always a terribly rough decision to make. The cat I let go when I was 13 and the two old dogs I had euth. 5yrs ago (they left 8m apart from each other) still cause tears out of the blue.Well she grew up with Aussies & had the one she grew up with till a few days after her 1st one was born. She had to put her long time friend to sleep as she had a huge tumor in her gut, felt like a baseball in her gut. Was very sad. Anyway, she was professional handling for friends, Samoyed & Newfi's mostly. She showed a German Shepherd a couple of times & showed our Cocker a few times. Back in 02' - 03' she was showing our Parson Russell Terrier. They now have a photo business. They do a lot of weddings, senior pictures etc. Their business is really taking off.

How cool that she was able to have all that experience and now start a great career! I once thought I was going to show dogs and started training for it, but the "tutoring" I was getting I felt was leading nowhere so I moved on. I enjoyed 6yrs working as veterinary assistant instead. Loved the type of work (minus assisting with euthanasias), hated the varying and long hours!
Love all the above mentioned breeds, especially Newfies!!! I also have a Cocker. She is a brown and tan and is the friendliest little thing!
