kinda gross kinda funny story...

I have had some call ducks hatching out earlier in the week... As they were hatching while I was at work, I would have my son check on everyone the second he would get home from school... Well, he reported one had not made it and was outside the nest. I asked him to pick it up and put aside I wanted to see if there was a particular reason why it died and to put it somewhere were our cats wouldn't think 'snack!' --> He set it in an Aroma Melts Warmer, it's one of those Partylite candle thingeys, (not burning obviously) right by our back door... the holder sits right next to our keys and whatnot, so he figured I would see the duckling right away as I set my keys down. Well, I didn't..it's a little dark right there ~ (and he wasn't home when I got home) so imagine my surprise when I DID see it sitting in the glass dish! lol!

So nice to meet some local people as always , but You two.........................Rock!!! Let me know if you need more and I will set some aside.
The thing is that, I will travel to get my flock and pay big bux. As new people come in, some others try to take advantage with mix breed saying there pure bread. Sick birds, I don't care who you know or what name you want to drop, If your flock isn't up to par.... shut it down for awhile.
This runes it for the rest of us.
I may not be the Champion breeder in ALL categories but I have good stock. I have a hard time listening to what is really going on out there with some people.


SOOOO...... that being said, This will be my last season.
I am sorry that I didn't do more and for all that was there for me through what has happened with,
my son, dog and my dad not to mention the countless # of FREE and I say again FREE #1 QUALITY FREE CHICKS that I have spread.

Downsizing..

I currently have no plans to downsize any of my full grown birds, just chicks and the roosters listed.

(Sorry about letting Liza's chicks go Weave.. please don't hate me, I'm still keeping the quad, and he's the only rooster I'm keeping)
I'm representing them disease free to the best of my knowledge, but still folks.. quarantine.
My shoes go to feed stores too, and out in my yard, and all over. Who knows where anything can get picked up at any time on clothing/shoes/etc.
