Thank you for sharing! I know I will continue to follow Catherine's blog and cartoon.

LOL, these are great! I'm going to try to keep up with them

Is there anyone local to me that might possibly have hatching eggs for sale?

My Barred Rock hen is dead set on hatching out some eggs. I have tried everything I can think of to break her, but she refuses to quit. So My husband and I have decided to go ahead and get her 2-3 fertile eggs to hatch. Breed isn't an issue. I just want her to snap out of it.

If anyone is willing to help, please pm me and let me know how much it would cost me for 2-3 eggs... Please?
Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm probably too far for it to be worth it to you, but I'd be willing to give up a couple eggs free for the cause. I'm way down in Mossyrock, though. If you're coming through this way, swing by, though

PM me if so

Cheryl how far are you from Seabeck ?
Maybe a drive to Cree Farms in Seabeck will be close for you and they had some fantastic eggs for sale, see their website.

They have some wheaten and blue wheaten marans that are gorgeous, I already have some of their blue marans, blue splash and blackand have their blue ameraucanas due to hatch on Saturday, in the bator.
To me, on the map, it does not look that far from you but sometimes the roads go so far around where you want to go out there.
We have a cabin in Quilcene and it takes us about 4 hrs to get there from here in Raymond !!!!!
It was faster to get to the cabin when I lived in Everett and took the ferry~~~
I would go for the blue wheaten marans myself !!!
