Favs are known for a medium to medium /large egg. But my girls lay large to XL. The largest egg layers I have average 58-63 gram eggs. The rest are close behind that.

Great! I will get my favs from you once I cut down the size of my flock.

It looks like maybe hot glue gun?? That is what I would try.

or caulk adhesive if you have some laying around in the garage

           Welcome to any new peeps. Feel free to join right in.      Also please don't judge this thread by what you may have read here over the last couple of days. We don't normally have that much attitude going on here.  

I tend to ignore posts with attitude knowing that the people who wrote them just haven't been here long enough to know what a wonderful group of folks are on the site.

I did want to add that I love my standard poodle German Shepherd cross that I paid a lot of money for and drove down to California to pick her up. I love her just as much as my mutt that I found on I-90. The breeder that I bought my shepherd/poodle cross from sold them as mutts. He normally breeds German shepherds for family pets and poodles (for hunting!). he's been doing so for over 20 years and has some wonderful dogs. Both my dogs are great flock guardians and I can trust them alone with my chickens now.

Looks folks, I already understand what a mutt is! But unless someone is making a false claim - such as claiming that a mix-breed will breed true - then I see no reason to be rude to them, and that was what I saw someone doing, in my opinion - being rude for no reason - so I simply stated my opinion on the matter. Perhaps my opinion is dead wrong. Perhaps I didn't sugar-coat it. Perhaps I'm an ignorant newbie. I'm OK with all of that being pointed out. But I most definitely did not "attack" anyone with "harsh words"! I stated my opinion about chickens and did not make it personal in the slightest. I invite anyone who has accused me of attacking anyone here - whether by calling me out directly by name in doing so or not - to quote where I have made such an attack.

Been a 'lurker' on this thread, for a little bit, and thought I would post and say 'hi'. I have eleven birds, right now; four Silkies & seven Serama. I am getting two more Silkies, from Karen (Catdance Silkies) in the fall Just love these guys!!
