The broody will have to set on some eggs for a few weeks before she will accept a baby.Thanks for the reply. I've read though that I need to get a new, new baby. Like under 3 days. Has anyone had a different experience?
They are pretty smart that way, she may kill any babies she will know are not hers, be careful.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
